Podcasts Québec respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what your rights are.
1. Data we collect
- User account: if you create an account, we store your email address and an encrypted identifier so that you can find your favourites.
- Favourites: the list of podcasts and episodes you mark as favourites is associated with your account.
- Anonymous analytics: we measure site traffic (page views, language, country, browser) without individually identifying visitors.
2. Cookies
We only use cookies that are strictly necessary to operate the site (session, language preference, audio player). No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies are used.
3. Data hosting
The site is hosted on Vercel and the database is hosted on Supabase, in the Quebec region when possible. No personal data is sold to third parties.
4. Your rights
At any time, you may:
- view, correct or delete your account information;
- request the complete deletion of your account and favourites;
- exercise your access and rectification rights under the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Quebec, Law 25).
