Quebec baseball podcasts

Following the season, from training camp to the playoffs

Baseball suits the audio format well: a long season, a lot of games and a special place for statistics and anecdotes. The shows in this category generally follow that rhythm, with looks back at the week’s series, lineup analysis or discussions about trades.

• Recaps and analysis after each series of games.
• Discussions between fans about trades and young prospects.
• Stories about great careers and memorable moments.

A passion kept alive in Quebec

In Quebec, interest in the sport often comes from memories of the Montreal Expos and the hope of one day seeing a major league team back in the city. Some shows keep that memory alive while following the news of today’s teams and of amateur baseball here.

Fans of stories from the past will find other ways in through the history podcast ranking, where shows look back at people and events from years gone by. Long summer evenings are a good time for them, between two innings.

Exploring other sports and training

In winter, many fans turn to other sports. The best hockey podcasts follow another great Quebec passion, and the sports category brings together all the sports shows, from running to basketball.

For amateur players who want to stay in shape between games, the fitness podcasts offer training advice. The guide to getting started explains how to subscribe so you receive each new episode automatically.
